Et oui, aujourd’hui c’était déjà le dernier jour de la Convention Officielle de Xena à Burbank. Durant ce troisième et dernier jour exceptionnel étaient au programme: Petit déjeuné (uniquement pour les Pass Gold) avec Hudson Leick, Meighan Desmond et Steven L.Sears. Séances de photos, d’autographes, de questions-réponses et de sketchs avec plusieurs invités dont Darien Takle (Cyrène), Meighan Desmond (Discorde/Sturgina), Ted Raimi (Joxer), Lucy Lawless (Xena), Reneè O’Connor (Gabrielle). Quizz sur la série et pour finir des enchères sur divers produits dérivés.
Voici quelques passages des questions-réponses que nous avons retenues de cette troisième journée.
♦ Darien Takle a nommé sa petite-fille Hope, les fans n’en revenaient pas. Elle aimerait reporter sa tenue (celle de Cyrène) parce que les bottes sont très confortables, mais c’est Reneè qui l’a. Si c’était possible, elle aimerait reprendre son rôle dans un film. Darien et Lucy étaient très sérieuses sur le tournage. Darien a fait la surprise à Lucy en venant la rejoindre dans la salle verte.
♦ Meighan Desmond aimerait un film Xena et elle ne changerait rien à son rôle de Discorde. Si elle pouvait jouer un autre personnage, elle voudrait Arès.
♦ Pour Ted Raimi la plus grande qualité de Joxer, c’est son grand cœur. Joxer ne mange pas de vrais insectes dans l’épisode «La Femme aux Bijoux (Fins Femmes & Gems)». Ted ne pouvait pas garder un visage impassible dans une scène avec Reneé.
♦ Reneè O’Connor a parlé de son nouveau court-métrage « Broken Things» dans lequel elle a adoré tourner avec Adrienne Wilkinson (Eve/Livie), et également de son rôle dans «The Usual». Elle aimerait reprendre son rôle de Gabrielle dans un film et pourquoi pas le réaliser.
♦ «Oui, si on me demande, je le ferai.», Lucy Lawless avec une position ferme sur le retour en tant que Xena. Lucy veut rester impliquer dans le monde de l’activisme. Pour le plus grand bonheur des fans, Lucy a chanté «Total Eclipse of the Heart» et Burial. Lucy a adoré jouer dans un épisode des Simpson «Être dans Les Simpsons était tellement cool».
♦ Lucy Lawless & Reneè O’Connor ont chanté ensemble la chanson «Deep In The Heart Of Texas». Michael Hurst a fait une visite surprise à Reneè et Lucy lors de la séance photos .
♦ La prochaine Convention Xena se déroulera du 20 au 22 février 2015 à Burbank, Los Angeles. Cette convention fêtera les 20 ans de la série et sera la dernière.

During this third and last exceptional day was schedulded: Breakfast time ( Only for the Gold Passes ) with Hudson Leick, Meighan Desmond and Steven L Sears. Photoshoots, Q&A sessions, autographs timesand sketches with several guests among them Darien Takle (Cyrène), Meighan Desmond (Discorde/Sturgina), Ted Raimi (Joxer), Lucy Lawless (Xena), Reneè O’Connor (Gabrielle). Quizz about teh show and to end the day goodies auctioned.
Here are some memorable extracts of teh Q&A sessions of the day:
♦ Darien Takle named her daughter Hope, the fans were astonished. She would like to wear her costume again ( The Cyrene outfit ) because the boots are comfortable, but it is Renée who got them. If it was possible she would like to take back her role in the movie. Darien surprised Lucy by joining her in the green room.
♦ Meighan Desmond would love to see a Xena movie and she wouldn’t change anything to her role as Discorde. If she could have played another character she would have loved to play Ares.
♦ Ted Raimi said that the greatest quality of Joxer was his big heart. Joxer doesn’t eat insects in the epiosde « Fins Femmes & Gems ». Ted couldn’t keep a poker face during a scene with Renée.
♦ Reneé O’Connor talked about her new short film « Broken Things » in which she loved to direct Adrienne Wilkinson (Eve/Livie), she also takled about her role in « The Usual ». She’d like to take back her role as Gabrielle in a movie and maybe direct it.
♦ « Yeah if I was asked I’d do it », said Lucy Lawless with a firm tone about her being back as Xena. Lucy wants to be as involved as she has been up to now in the activism circle. And for the fans’ joy Lucy sang « Total Eclipse of the heart » and « Burial ». Lucy loved to to play in an episode in the Simpsons « Being a Simpson was cool »
♦ Lucy Lawless and Reneé O’Connor sang the song « Deep In The Heart OF Texas ». Michael Hurst surprised Lucy and Renée by joining them during the photoshoot session.
♦ The next Xena Convention will happen the 20th/21st and 22nd of February 2015 in Burbank Los Angeles. This Convention will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the show and will be the last one.
