Nous sommes déjà à la deuxième journée de la Convention Officielle de Xena qui se déroule actuellement à Burbank. Durant ce deuxième jour exceptionnel étaient au programme: Atelier de prise de conscience en compagnie de Reneé O’Connor. Séances de photos, d’autographes, de Meet & Greet, de questions-réponses et de sketchs avec plusieurs invités dont Brittney Powell (Brunnhilda),  Michael Hurst (La Veuve Twanky/Iolas), Jennifer Ward-Lealand (Boadicea/Zehra), David Franklin (Brutus). Le concours de cosplay.  Et pour terminer cette journée magnifique un atelier de dance avec Hudson Leick et une soirée privée en compagnie de Michael Hurst, Jennifer Ward-Lealand, Hudson Leick, Darien Takle, et Brittney Powell.

Voici quelques passages des questions-réponses que nous avons retenues de cette deuxième journée.

♦ Cette année encore, Brittney Powell a mis son soutien-gorge aux enchères afin d’amasser de l’argent pour la Fondation Desi Geestman, qui lutte contre les cancers pédiatriques. Ils ont récolté 3000$ pour la fondation. Cette année encore, Brittney est venue avec son ami proche Tom Konkle avec qui elle a fait de nombreux films et séries comme Trouble Is My Business et Solo: The Series.

♦ Michael Hurst adore le «couple» Iolas et Gabrielle. Il a beaucoup aimé tourner la comédie musicale «Chicago» avec Lucy. Malheureusement, il n’y aura pas de DVD.

♦ Michael et sa femme, Jennifer Ward-Lealand, ont abordé leurs nombreuses activités récentes. Ils aimeraient également faire une pièce nommée  «No Holds Bard» lors de la Convention Xena de 2015.  Celle-ci fêtera les 20 ans de la série et sera la dernière (non confirmé pour le moment). Ils seront ensemble dans le film «The Almighty Johnsons» prévu cette année sur Syfy. Jennifer a ensuite interviewé la célèbre Veuve Twanky.

♦ David Franklin a obtenu son rôle dans la série grâce à un faux mariage et beaucoup de persévérance. Il a ensuite révélé que son personnage préféré était Gabrielle pour l’avoir tué. «Gabrielle Elle déchire». Il est également désolé d’avoir tué Ephiny.

♦ Voici le Top 3 des meilleurs costumes du concours cosplay: Hanuman [4×16: La Voie (The Way)], Xena et en troisième position Hope

♦ Potedeia VS Amphipolis: C’est l’équipe de Potedeia qui a gagné le match de softball (un genre de bassball)

The second day of the Offical Xena Con’ is already happening in Burbank. For that second day the fans could be part of a workshop on consciousness provided by Renée O’Connor herself. Photo shoots, autographs, Meet & Greet, Q&A and sketches were the different activities of the day. The sketches were animated and performed by Brittney Powell (Brunnhilda), Michael Hurst (The WidowTwanky/Iolaus), Jennifer Ward-Lealand (Boadicea/Zehra), David Franklin (Brutus). A Cosplay competition has been organised. To end this wonderful day Hudson Leick gave a lesson of dance and some lucky fans had te chance to be part of a private party with some of the guests: Michael Hurst, Jennifer Ward-Lealand, Hudson Leick, Darien Takle, and Brittney Powell.

Here are some of the Q&A of the day:

 ♦ Once again Britney Powell put to auction her bra to raise funds for the Desi Geestman Foundation, which fights against pediatric cancers. Just like last year she came with Tom Konkle, a close friend with whom she played in a lot of movies and TV shows like Trouble is my business and Solo: The Series.

♦ Mickael Hurst says he loves the couple Iolaus and Gabrielle. He added that he enjoyed to perform in the Musical Chicago with Lucy. Unfortunately there will be no DVD of this show.

♦ Mickael and his wife, Jennifer Ward-Lealand,talked about their various and recent projects and activities. They also say that they would like to perform a play called « No Holds Bard » during the Xena Con 2015. This Convention will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the show and will be the last Convention ( still not confirmed yet). They will both have a part in the movie  » The Almighty Johnsons » that will on air on Syfy this year. Then Jennifer interviewed the famous Twanky Widow.

♦ David Franklin got his part in the show thanks to a fake wedding and a lot of perseverance. Then he revealed that her favorite character was Gabrielle because she killed him  » Gabrielle rocks ». He then admitted that he was sorry for killing Ephiny.

♦ Here is the top 3 of the costumes during the cosplay competition: Hanuman (4×16 The Way), Xena and finally Hope.

♦ Potedeia VS Amphipolis: The Potedeia team wins the softball game.
